The measuring principle
An electric current flows between two electrodes, which helps measure the impedance change based on the moisture contained in the material. The device immediately converts the measurement into the moisture content as a percentage. The device gives you a clear reading of the moisture in wood as an H2O percentage of between 6% and 100%. With other building materials, the device works out the equivalent wood moisture.
