Cut WÜTOP Flex to the required length using scissors. Roughly fit the material to the shape of the roof and pull the masking film off the adhesive coating on the back. Firmly press onto the tiles and smooth down into the trough. WÜTOP Flex can also be overlapped. Ensure that overlapping sections are adhered and pressed down very carefully, especially in corner areas. We recommend using a rubberised pressure roller for pressing down the product. If WÜTOP Flex is applied vertically to structural elements (e.g. a chimney), the top edge must be fitted with a standard cover strip and sealed with a permanently elastic sealant.
To ensure good, lasting adhesion, note the following:
- Processing temperature from +5 °C
- The substrate must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease
- Mould WÜTOP Flex exactly to the contours of the surface and press down firmly
- Conduct your own adhesion tests on tiles with silicone coatings
