Disassembly of interchangeable core cylinder. If there are decorative buttons, use a screwdriver to pierce the plastic cap in the middle of the head and pull the cap out. Insert the screwdriver through the cylinder housing into the oval pouch in the base and turn the adapter so that the pouch is upright over the two holes. Feed the release pin all the way through the hole in the adapter and press lightly on the side of the release pin head to remove the rotary knob.
