The compressed air demand of pneumatic machines and devices to be operated by the compressor is defined by multiplying the total air consumption per minute by 2 - 2.5, based on the intensity of application. The reciprocating compressor must not be operated continuously; cooling down of the coolant and the valves must be ensured.
