Watertight and blocks vapour diffusion
Protects from moisture penetration from indoors into the masonry and thus prevents the risk of moisture-related structural damage
- Thanks to its high-quality and flexible material, the EPDM film remains permanently sealed and compensates particularly well for component movements
- Its high UV and weathering resistance make the EPDM film ideally suited for permanently secure sealing
- Reliable installation is also achieved on slightly uneven construction surfaces, when combined with EPDM sealing tape adhesive
- Good compatibility with bitumen
Tape cannot be plastered over.
Datasheets(X)
Permanent, reliable sealing of joints indoors, e.g. for window sills, floor-level windows and balcony doors, for outside door sills, conservatories and in façade areas.
- The surfaces must be dry, dust- and grease-free and capable of bearing loads.
- Installation: Cut the EPDM tape to the required length. Apply the EPDM sealing tape adhesive to the surface and wipe off with a spatula. Glue the EPDM tape to the surface and press on lightly using a press-on roller, while ensuring tension-free installation.
- On the frame/element, the sealing tape in the version with self-adhesive strips and/or with the sealing of components in contact with the ground must be fixed in place according to DIN18533 with a mechanical assembly.
