Vehicles with diesel/petrol engines and 12-V electrical system.
1. Press test button to check battery charge level.
2. If green or orange, the device is immediately ready for use.
3. If red, connect to donor vehicle and charge up.
4. Switch off the affected vehicle and remove ignition key.
5. First connect the red plus clamp to the positive battery terminal, then the black minus clamp to an earth point on the vehicle.
6. Switch on the starter and attempt to start.
7. If the vehicle starts, wait for approx. 30 secs before switching the device off (re-charging).
8. Switch off the starter, then first remove the minus clamp followed by the plus clamp.
9. The starter is immediately ready for another use.
